About the Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Interior Designer to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, space planning, and detailing, along with proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. Freshers with strong technical skills and a good portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Develop 3D models and design presentations using SketchUp and rendering software.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, vendors, and site engineers.
- Visit project sites for measurements, design verification, and execution support.
- Assist clients in selecting materials, furniture, finishes, lighting, and color schemes.
- Ensure designs meet client expectations, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with execution teams for smooth project completion.
- Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- Good knowledge of SketchUp (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max, or Revit is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of space planning, interior detailing, and furniture layouts.
- Good communication and client interaction skills.
- Creativity with excellent visualization and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience
- 0–3 years in Interior Design.
- Freshers with relevant internship experience and a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Residential, Commercial, Office, Villa, or Retail Interior Projects.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
