Reports To: Centre Head / Academic Coordinator
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM/10:00Am -6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Position Overview
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and child-centred learning environment for children in the early years.
The role involves planning and facilitating play-based learning experiences, supporting children's overall development, building positive relationships with parents, and maintaining a warm and inclusive classroom environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
- Create engaging classroom activities that support children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's learning and developmental progress.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence through hands-on learning experiences.
- Prepare and maintain stimulating classroom environments and learning materials.
Child Care & Well-being
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of children at all times.
- Support children's daily routines, including arrival, snack time, transitions, and dispersal.
- Foster positive behaviour through nurturing and respectful guidance.
- Provide emotional support and create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
Parent Communication
- Build positive and professional relationships with parents.
- Share regular updates on children's learning and development.
- Participate in parent meetings, events, and centre activities as required.
- Address parent queries with warmth and professionalism.
Classroom & Centre Operations
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organisation, and readiness each day.
- Ensure learning resources, displays, and materials are well maintained.
- Support centre events, celebrations, and engagement activities.
- Follow all centre policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
Desired Skills & CompetenciesEssential
- Graduate in any discipline (Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education is an added advantage).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Preschool or Early Years Teacher.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Passion for working with young children.
- Patient, caring, creative, and energetic personality.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience in EYFS, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or other play-based learning approaches.
- Experience in documenting children's learning and conducting parent interactions.
- Ability to create engaging learning materials and classroom displays.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
