The Automobile Sales Telecaller is responsible for generating and qualifying sales leads, contacting prospective customers, scheduling showroom visits/test drives, and supporting the sales team in converting enquiries into vehicle bookings. The role requires strong communication skills, customer follow-up, and lead management.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Calling & Follow-up
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers from enquiry databases, website leads, and walk-in records.
- Follow up with existing leads for vehicle purchase interest.
- Generate showroom appointments and test drive bookings.
- Maintain regular follow-up until lead conversion or closure.
2. Customer Engagement
- Explain vehicle features, offers, pricing, and current dealership promotions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle models.
- Handle customer queries professionally and provide accurate information.
3. Appointment Coordination
- Schedule showroom visits and test drives for customers.
- Coordinate with sales consultants for customer handover.
- Confirm appointments and send reminders to customers.
4. CRM & Data Management
- Update customer interactions and lead status in CRM/DMS systems.
- Maintain accurate customer database and follow-up records.
- Track daily call logs, appointment conversions, and booking support.
5. Sales Support
- Assist sales team in achieving monthly targets through lead generation.
- Promote finance, exchange, and promotional offers where applicable.
- Support customer feedback collection after visits or purchases.
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal communication in local language, Hindi, and English
- Good persuasion and customer handling skills
- Telecalling or telesales experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel / CRM / DMS)
- Positive attitude and target-oriented mindset
Qualification
- Graduate preferred
- Higher Secondary with relevant experience may be considered
Experience
- 1–2 years in telecalling, customer service, or automobile sales support
- Experience in automobile dealerships such as Tata Motors, Kia India, Maruti Suzuki, or Hyundai Motor India preferred
