Job Title: SEO Specialist
Location: Park Street, Kolkata
We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist responsible for optimizing website performance, driving organic growth, and improving search visibility across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong technical SEO expertise, hands-on experience with leading analytics tools, and a deep understanding of keyword research and competitor analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze website performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Execute on-page and technical SEO strategies across CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
- Perform keyword research using tools such as Semrush, Screaming Frog, and other industry-standard keyword tools.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, benchmark rankings, and uncover strategic insights.
- Ensure proper implementation and optimization of robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and their inclusion/updates on the website for proper crawling and indexing.
- Audit websites for technical issues, including crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content, and page-speed improvements.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
Must–Have Skills
- Strong understanding of robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and technical SEO configurations.
- Expertise in monitoring, measuring, and reporting SEO performance with analytics tools.
- Experience with keyword research methodologies and SEO analysis frameworks.
- Ability to interpret competitive landscapes and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with additional keyword tools such as Ahrefs or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and site-structure optimization.
