Are you passionate about mould design and looking to build a strong career in injection mould manufacturing? We're looking for a Junior Mould Design Engineer to join our growing team and work closely with our design and production experts on real, hands-on projects.
About the Role
As a Junior Mould Design Engineer, you'll be involved in designing and detailing injection moulds, from core & cavity layouts to plate design, while working alongside our head designer on live projects. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to learn advanced mould design practices in a fast-paced, practical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design 2D/3D injection mould components including core, cavity, and plates
- Prepare and revise design drawings for VMC and shop floor execution
- Support the head mould designer on complex mould design projects
- Ensure design accuracy and adherence to manufacturing feasibility
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve design-related queries during machining and assembly
What We're Looking For
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or ZW3D (hands-on project or academic experience welcome)
- Basic understanding of injection mould components and mould-making processes
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn on the job
- Freshers with strong CAD fundamentals are encouraged to apply, prior industry experience is a plus, not a requirement
- No specific educational qualification required, we care more about your design skills and problem-solving ability
