Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage the daily receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution of food ingredients, packaging materials, beverages, and other restaurant supplies. The ideal candidate should maintain accurate stock records and ensure that required materials are available on time while minimizing wastage.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify food ingredients, groceries, beverages, packaging materials, and other supplies.
- Check quantity, quality, expiry dates, and condition of received items.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of all stock items.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize wastage and expired stock.
- Maintain daily stock records and inventory registers.
- Issue materials to the kitchen and other departments based on approved requirements.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform management about replenishment requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Track wastage, damaged items, expired products, and shortages.
- Coordinate with suppliers and management regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for perishable and non-perishable items.
- Keep the store area clean, hygienic, and properly organized.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports when required.
- Follow restaurant food-safety, hygiene, and inventory-control procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Assistant, or similar role, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food-service environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Good understanding of FIFO/FEFO methods.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially Excel or inventory software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle stock responsibly.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock when required.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling food and perishable items.

Pay: ₹9,246.52 - ₹20,000.00 per month
