Job Description – Senior Assistant Professor (Physiotherapy)
Position: Senior Assistant Professor
Department: Physiotherapy
Specialization: Neuro-Physiotherapy / Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Qualification: MPT in Neuro-Physiotherapy or Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy from a recognized university
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy students.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, clinical teaching, and skill-based training.
- Guide and mentor students in academic, clinical, and professional development.
- Participate in curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and case studies.
- Conduct and publish research in reputed journals and contribute to academic development.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, and continuing education programs.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation as per institutional requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure effective clinical training and patient care exposure.
- Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, and departmental activities.
- Perform administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department and Principal.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Neuro-Physiotherapy and/or Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and motivate students.
- Research aptitude with academic writing skills.
- Good organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment and evidence-based practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
- Participation in professional conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
