Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and research-oriented Lead Research / Business Development Associate to support market expansion, lead generation, prospect qualification, and business development activities across the EV, Battery, Renewable Energy, and Industrial Power sectors.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, conducting market research, generating qualified leads, nurturing prospects, and supporting the sales team in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, distributors, OEMs, EPCs, and business partners.
- Build and maintain databases of prospects and decision-makers.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, industry portals, online research, exhibitions, and networking platforms.
- Execute outbound outreach through emails, calls, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain CRM records and track lead progression through the sales funnel.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support customer inquiries and business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Prepare reports on lead generation, outreach activities, meetings, and pipeline growth.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain strong relationships with prospects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Lead Generation, Business Development, Market Research, Inside Sales, or Sales Operations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and results-driven approach.
Preferred Experience
- Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles (EV), Battery Technology, Power Electronics, Industrial Products, or B2B Sales.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and lead-generation tools.
- Understanding of OEM, EPC, and industrial customer ecosystems.
