Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java AWS Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system design, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure, and will work on enterprise-grade distributed systems.
This role requires strong backend engineering skills, deep AWS knowledge, and the ability to work in high-scale, performance-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
- Build and support microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability and resilience
- Contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure, including EKS and EC2
- Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and service deployment
- Implement cloud monitoring and observability using Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and Lambda
- Develop and integrate secure authorization mechanisms using XACML policies
- Design and manage data persistence using NoSQL and SQL databases such as Cassandra, Aurora, and Oracle
- Build and consume SOAP and RESTful web services, working with JSON-based APIs
- Integrate and manage messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, including BDD and Cucumber
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best engineering practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
- Proven experience in developing microservices-based applications
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, particularly EKS and EC2
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Experience using cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, and AWS Lambda
- Working knowledge of XACML authorization frameworks
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases, including Cassandra, Aurora, and Oracle
- Strong experience with SOAP and RESTful web services, along with messaging systems like Kafka
- Hands-on exposure to test automation frameworks such as BDD and Cucumber
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, enterprise development environment
