Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Maintain real-time stock records in internal software (inward/outward entries).
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock audits.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and highlight discrepancies.
2. Purchases & Returns
- Verify purchase orders, inward receipts, and vendor returns.
- Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and purchase reconciliations.
- Ensure timely processing of purchase returns and damaged goods.
3. Stock Movement & Transfers
- Manage inter-branch transfers and stock allocations.
- Track pending orders, deliveries, and trial stock movement.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, tailoring, and delivery teams.
4. Reporting & Monitoring
- Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports for management review.
- Highlight irregularities, shortages, and excesses in stock.
- Support audit teams with compliance-ready documentation.
5. Compliance & SOPs
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs for stock handling, billing, and returns.
- Maintain discipline in record-keeping and audit trails.
- Assist in surprise audits and statutory compliance checks.
6. Vendor & Staff Coordination
- Liaise with vendors for timely supply and returns.
- Train staff on inventory handling protocols and system usage.
- Act as the point of contact for operational queries related to stock.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/Excel).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to reconcile multi-source data (handwritten + digital).
- Compliance-oriented with audit-ready documentation skills.
- Effective communication and vendor management.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy rate of stock vs. system records.
- Timeliness of reporting and reconciliations.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies and losses.
- Vendor payment and return cycle efficiency.
- Audit compliance score.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
