Chinese language teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning: Prepare and deliver structured lessons for different age groups and proficiency levels.
- Assessment: Design tests, assignments, and oral evaluations to track progress.
- Cultural Education: Teach Chinese traditions, history, and contemporary culture alongside language.
- Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Resource Development: Create audio-visual materials, worksheets, and digital resources.
- Parent Communication: Provide updates on student progress.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with curriculum changes and modern teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chinese Language, Education, or related fields.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin (and sometimes Cantonese); ability to teach simplified and traditional characters.
- Teaching Experience: Prior classroom or tutoring experience across different education levels.
- Cultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of Chinese history, traditions, and modern society.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
