Key Responsibilities:
1. Workshop Operations Management
Plan, organize, and supervise all workshop activities
Ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and services
Monitor workflow and allocate jobs to technicians efficiently
2. Team Management
Supervise mechanics, technicians, and support staff
Conduct training and skill development programs
Maintain discipline and ensure team productivity
3. Customer Service
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Coordinate with service advisors for smooth communication
4. Quality Control
Ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer standards
Conduct final inspections before vehicle delivery
Maintain safety and cleanliness in the workshop
5. Inventory & Spare Parts Management
Monitor spare parts stock levels
Coordinate with stores for parts availability
Control wastage and reduce unnecessary expenses
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Track workshop performance (job cards, turnaround time, revenue)
Maintain records of repairs and services
7. Financial & Target Management
Achieve revenue and productivity targets
Control operational costs
Monitor billing and job card closure
Skills Required:
Strong technical knowledge of automobiles
Leadership and team management skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Good communication and customer handling skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, workshop software)
Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field
3–7 years of experience in automobile service/workshop management
Working Conditions:
Full-time role
