About the Role
JK Electric Contractor LLP is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Factory Project Manager to oversee the complete operations and project execution within the factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material planning, production coordination, team leadership, vendor management, inventory control, and ensuring projects are completed on time while maintaining quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end factory project execution and daily operations.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of all factory materials and components.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize material utilization to reduce wastage.
- Review material requirements, production plans, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely material deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Resolve production bottlenecks and operational challenges effectively.
- Monitor manpower planning and ensure efficient workforce utilization.
- Collaborate with management to achieve production and business objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in factory operations, production planning, and project coordination.
- Knowledge of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
- Experience in procurement coordination and vendor management.
- Strong understanding of production workflows and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP Systems, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and workplace safety practices.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience in factory operations, production management, or manufacturing project management.
- Experience in electrical equipment, EPC, battery, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing will be preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage end-to-end factory operations.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
