We are seeking a Data Migration ETL Engineer for Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. The role focuses on migrating data from Sybase ASE to Oracle using Oracle Data Integrator.
Responsibilities Design and implement ETL pipelines across Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Develop schema conversion strategies and transformation logic. Optimize migration performance using partitioning, indexing, bulk load techniques, and query tuning. Plan and execute cutovers with rollback strategies ensuring minimal downtime. Perform validation and reconciliation including row counts, checksums, and integrity checks. Collaborate with DBAs, application owners, and QA teams. Document migration artifacts including mapping documents, runbooks, and test plans. Contribute to governance and metadata management during migration.
Requirements Graduation or post graduation in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Four to six years of ETL development and large scale data migration experience. Advanced proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL SQL. Proven track record of Sybase ASE to Oracle migrations. Strong knowledge of Change Data Capture mechanisms. Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator and Apache NiFi. Experience with schema conversions, data mapping, and reconciliation. Experience with data modeling tools including ER diagrams and normalization.
Preferred Qualifications Oracle Certified Professional and relevant certifications.
Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
