A Cylindrical Grinding Operator is responsible for operating cylindrical grinding machines to produce precision cylindrical components with accurate dimensions, smooth surface finish, and tight tolerances according to engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Grind external and internal cylindrical surfaces to required dimensions.
- Measure finished parts using micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Ensure surface finish, concentricity, and dimensional accuracy.
- Dress grinding wheels and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Follow quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
- Inspect finished components and maintain production records.
Skills Required: Precision measurement, blueprint reading, machine setup, grinding techniques, attention to detail, and quality inspection.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
