Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to lead and manage end-to-end Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk allocation, due diligence management, drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and transaction management, providing expert guidance throughout the lifecycle of transactions—from inception to closure.
Experience Requirements:
· Managing Associate (4–5 Core Experience): Law firm experience with exposure to M&A, investment banking, risk management, drafting, contract negotiation (including NDAs), anti-corruption compliance, and corporate strategy. Court practitioners with relevant experience are also welcome.
· Partner Designate (8–10 Core Experience): Strong expertise in corporate/M&A transactions, with a proven ability to independently lead and close deals (portable book preferred) and mentor teams.
Key Responsibilities
Core Areas: Risk Allocation, Due Diligence Management, Drafting & Negotiation, Regulatory Compliance, Transaction Management.
· Identify potential acquisition, merger, joint venture, and divestiture opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
· Conduct industry research, market mapping, and competitor analysis
· Build relationships with investment banks, advisors, and target companies
· Manage timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication
· Assist in integration planning and execution

Qualifications
· LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) – mandatory
· LL.M. from a recognized institution (in Corporate Law, M&A is highly preferred for complex transactions.
· Qualified to practice law in India
