1. Team Management:
- Supervise mechanics, technicians, and other staff.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities based on skills and availability.
- Ensure that the team follows safety protocols and operational standards.
2. Customer Service & Interaction:
- Communicate directly with customers to understand their service needs.
- Provide cost estimates and timelines for repairs or servicing.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure that all repair work is completed according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform inspections of the finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
4. Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain the stock of spare parts and tools.
- Place orders for parts and equipment as needed.
- Maintain proper records of inventory and ensure efficient stock usage.
5. Workshop Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
- Oversee the scheduling of repairs, ensuring that jobs are completed on time.
- Ensure that all necessary tools and machinery are in working condition.
6. Training & Development:
- Train new technicians and staff on workshop procedures and standards.
- Keep the team updated on new technologies, vehicle models, and repair techniques.
