Job Summary
The Textile Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and expanding market presence for textile products. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with production, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers in domestic and international textile markets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients, distributors, and agents.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present product proposals, quotations, and sales contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with customers.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and generate leads.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and sales activities in CRM systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–10 years of sales experience in the textile, fabric, garment, or apparel industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Strong knowledge of textile products, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and business development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing, Sales, or Business Management.
- Experience in export sales and international market development.
- Established network within textiles, garment manufacturers, exporters, and retailers.
