Perform daily operations of Generator Stator Bars/ Green Bars & Assembly in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 19443 standards, following the SQDC approach to achieve shift-wise targets as per standard work instructions. Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.

Follow Organization EHS guidelines & participate actively in all EHS activities & initiatives.

Report any stop work or concerns related to EHS & Quality and report all safety incidents as per EHS guidelines.

Perform & assign activities in line with work specific regulatory compliance and organizational EHS policy.
Competent for assessment of risks & hazards associated with the task & respective mitigation actions.
Undergo required EHS trainings to work safely & perform tasks in safe manner. Shall acquire the respective authorization/training before performing an activity.

Ensure that all Contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working with you or nearby area.

Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and risk related to activities of Generator Stator Assembly.
Understanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item & Activity).
Review and understanding of shop documents like MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL and FMEAs and control Plans.
Responsible for performing preparatory work, setup, and precise quality measurements for Stator Bars manufacturing operations.
Green Bars: Tasks include operation of Roebling machine, Mastic application, bars assembly and operation of Hot Press along with bars calibrations and testing.
Stator Bars: Tasks include bending operation of bars, Brazing of lugs, Insulation application, TVPI operation and varnishing.
Operate manual and power tools, handle chemicals safely, and ensure compliance with 5S and Kaizen principles.
Perform Welding operations (Microplasma and Tig).
Tests: Responsible to perform in process tests like Inter strand tests, Water flow/Air flow test, leaks & pressure test, Resistance measurements etc.
Monitor production, adjust tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support uninterrupted generator assembly operations.
The job is not limited to the stator Bars manufacturing area, the operator may be required to work in other areas as needed, based on job requirements and factory workload, after receiving the necessary training.
