Relax Techno Fab is a leading manufacturer of pressure vessels, LPG equipment, storage tanks, process equipment, and heavy fabricated products. We are seeking an experienced production leader who can drive manufacturing excellence, improve productivity, ensure quality, and lead a high-performing shop-floor team.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations.
- Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production plans.
- Ensure on-time completion of customer orders.
- Optimize production capacity, manpower, and machine utilization.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions.
Shop Floor Leadership
- Lead teams across fabrication, welding, machining, fit-up, assembly, hydro testing, painting, and dispatch.
- Allocate manpower based on production priorities.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production supervisors and engineers.
- Build a culture of safety, discipline, quality, and continuous improvement.
Manufacturing & Process Improvement
- Improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Minimize rework, rejection, and material wastage.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Drive cost reduction initiatives.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, WPS, and manufacturing procedures.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, customer inspectors, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, IS, PESO, and customer specifications.
- Support internal and external audits.
Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Planning, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
- Review production schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure availability of materials and resources for uninterrupted production.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, rejection, and delivery performance.
- Present production status to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–15 years of experience in heavy fabrication or pressure vessel manufacturing.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading production teams.
