Content Writer
The Role -
Most content roles end at the Google Doc. This one does not.
At Cidroy, you'll own the company's organic growth engine, from strategy and writing to rankings, AI visibility, and business impact. Success is measured by traffic, leads, and whether AI models cite us when buyers ask questions in our category.
We build mission-critical software for high-security, industrial, and enterprise environments where accuracy matters. Explaining complex technical products clearly, while making them discoverable through search and AI, is the core challenge.
You will own the company's content roadmap across every organic channel. You'll decide what gets created, what gets updated, and what gets removed based on performance.

What You'll Own -
- Content strategy across the website, blog, product pages, documentation, case studies, and comparison pages
- Clear, technically accurate writing for technical buyers
- Brand voice across every content surface
- Content audits, refreshes, and pruning low-performing pages
- Keyword research, search intent mapping, and content briefs
- On-page SEO including metadata, internal linking, schema, and content structure
- Identifying technical SEO issues and working with developers to resolve them
- GEO and AEO through AI-friendly content structure, entity clarity, FAQs, and schema
- Search Console health including indexing, sitemaps, canonicals, and coverage issues
- Performance reporting across GA4, Search Console, and social analytics
- LinkedIn, newsletter, and content repurposing across channels
- Community engagement where the audience already exists
- Prioritizing future content investments based on data
Must Have -
Writing
- A portfolio that demonstrates clear, high-quality writing
- Ability to explain technical subjects accurately for an audience that includes engineers
SEO
- Hands-on experience driving measurable SEO outcomes, whether professionally or through your own projects
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO and enough technical SEO knowledge to identify problems and brief a developer
Operating Style
- Evidence that you own outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks
- Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly
- Ability to work independently without needing constant direction
Good to Have -
- Effective use of AI tools for research, drafting, repurposing, and automation while keeping the writing genuinely human
- Experience with CMS platforms, Markdown, HTML, and Git
- Basic design skills using Figma, Canva, or similar
- Startup experience or personal projects
- Experience growing a content channel, website, or audience from scratch

- You can connect published content to measurable traffic, ranking, or business outcomes
- You remove content that no longer performs because the data supports the decision
- You turn one piece of research into multiple high-quality content formats without repeating yourself
- You decide what should be prioritized next and can defend it with data
