Job Description – Service Engineer
Job Summary
The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and equipment at customer sites. The role requires providing prompt technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining service records.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test hydraulic systems and equipment at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Attend customer complaints and resolve technical issues within the committed turnaround time.
- Prepare detailed service reports after every site visit.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Production, and Spare Parts teams for timely resolution of customer issues.
- Recommend suitable spare parts and maintenance practices to customers.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and basic operator training.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and customer site regulations.
- Maintain tools, service equipment, and company assets in good condition.
- Travel extensively to customer locations as per business requirements.
Qualification
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Industrial, or related Engineering.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in hydraulic equipment, industrial machinery, or related field.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and power packs.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
