Job Summary
The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and executing civil construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. The role includes site supervision, project coordination, quantity estimation, quality control, and compliance with engineering standards and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute civil construction projects as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Estimate quantities of materials and monitor their usage.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure quality control by conducting inspections and implementing quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines at the project site.
- Verify contractor bills, work measurements, and progress reports.
- Identify technical issues at the site and provide engineering solutions.
- Maintain project documentation, daily progress reports, and site records.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and construction materials.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and cost control activities.
- Attend project review meetings and provide regular status updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or residential projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
