Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PRT English Teacher to teach primary grade students (Classes I–V). The candidate should possess strong communication skills, subject knowledge, and the ability to create an engaging and child-friendly learning environment. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through interactive and activity-based learning methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Use creative teaching methodologies, phonics, storytelling, role-play, and interactive activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, trainings, and co-curricular activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or a relevant field.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. mandatory.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in primary classes preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of smart classes and digital teaching tools will be an added advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per hour
