Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
The candidate will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems and integrating messaging platforms for asynchronous and event-driven applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
- Work with Apache Kafka for event streaming, asynchronous communication, and real-time data processing.
- Implement and manage message queues using RabbitMQ.
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous application workflows.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and performance of backend services.
- Integrate backend services with databases, third-party applications, and external APIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and improve system scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
- Implement security best practices for APIs, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Support application deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in Node.js Development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience in building scalable backend
