We are looking for: Senior Software Architect – (Data Architect)
You’ll make an impact by:
- Define and drive the enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business goals, digital transformation, and AI readiness.
- Act as a key advisor to leadership on data architecture, platform strategy, and emerging data trends.
- Establish and govern enterprise-wide data architecture principles, standards, and standard practices.
- Architect end-to-end data ecosystems spanning ingestion, transformation, storage, access, governance, and observability.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms demonstrating Snowflake and Azure data services.
- Define reference architectures for batch, real-time, and hybrid data processing.
- Design architecture supporting AI/ML workloads, including feature engineering, vectorized data, and ML pipelines.
- Integrate semantic technologies such as Knowledge Graphs (KG), ontologies, and metadata-driven architectures.
- Enable data discoverability, interoperability, and contextual understanding across domains.
- Partner with business leaders, product teams, and AI teams to align architecture with use cases.
- Collaborate with domain owners to ensure domain-driven and business-context aware data models.
- Drive adoption of data architecture standards across distributed teams (data mesh/federated models).
- Define and enforce frameworks for data governance, lineage, metadata management, and data quality.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish observability practices for monitoring data health and reliability.
- Provide architectural guidance and review designs across engineering and analytics teams.
- Mentor senior engineers, data architects, and technical leads.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools for enterprise adoption.
Use your skills to move the world forward!
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture roles.
- Proven experience in defining and implementing enterprise-scale data architecture strategies.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing, performance tuning and governance.
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure data ecosystem (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Purview) or similar technologies.
- Strong foundation in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical), integration patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing architectures for BI, real-time analytics, and AI/ML workloads including GenAI use-cases.
- Strong understanding of semantic modelling, metadata management, and Knowledge Graph concepts.
- Excellent partner management and ability to influence senior leadership
