Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining accurate pharmacy records.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and interactions.
- Maintain inventory of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, including ordering and storage of medications.
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide professional guidance regarding medications.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm).
- Valid Pharmacist Registration License.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dosage forms, and drug interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software.
- Knowledge of inventory and stock management practices.
