Shree Niketan School is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Academic Coordinator – Kindergarten to lead and support the academic and developmental programs for our Kindergarten section at the Thiruvallur Campus.
Position
Academic Coordinator – Kindergarten
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten/Early Childhood Education, with leadership or coordination experience preferred
- Strong understanding of child-centered and play-based learning methodologies
- Ability to plan, implement, and monitor academic programs aligned with school standards
- Excellent classroom observation, mentoring, and teacher development skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Ability to coordinate curriculum planning, assessments, events, and parent engagement initiatives
- Experience in handling academic documentation and maintaining quality standards
- Familiarity with CBSE Early Years framework and best practices in Early Childhood Education
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the academic functioning of the Kindergarten section
- Support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and learning outcomes
- Organize teacher training sessions and professional development programs
- Monitor student progress and support intervention strategies where required
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school leadership to enhance student development
- Plan and coordinate school events, celebrations, and Kindergarten activities
- Maintain academic records, reports, and compliance documentation
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Education / Early Childhood Education or related field
- Relevant leadership or coordination experience in a school setting will be an advantage
