Accounts Associate – Sales (Community & Memberships)

We are hiring an Accounts Associate - Sales to support the growth and engagement of a global community of privacy and data protection professionals.
This role is suited for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building long-term professional relationships, and driving membership and event participation within a purpose-led ecosystem.
This is focused on building a strong, collaborative network for privacy professionals worldwide. It brings together Data Protection Officers, CISOs, General Counsels, and senior leaders from legal, compliance, and technology backgrounds.
The community is centered on continuous learning, peer collaboration, and knowledge sharing in data protection, privacy, and technology.
As an Accounts Associate, you will be responsible for driving membership growth, engaging with prospective and existing members, and supporting key events and initiatives.
You will act as a primary point of contact for professionals joining the community and play a key role in strengthening relationships across the ecosystem.

Promote and manage memberships, events, and community programs

Engage with prospective and existing members via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and virtual platforms

Clearly explain membership value, benefits, and pricing

Manage leads and conversations through the membership lifecycle

Support marketing and outreach campaigns in collaboration with internal teams

Build and maintain long-term relationships with members and partners

Identify, onboard, and manage sponsors and donors for flagship events

Collect member feedback and share insights to improve engagement and offerings
Note: This is not a core accounting role; it is a sales-focused position.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or membership-driven roles

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable engaging professionals through LinkedIn, calls, emails, and virtual meetings

Interest in privacy, data protection, compliance, or cybersecurity

Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple conversations at once

Experience with community-based sales, memberships, or subscriptions

Exposure to professional services, compliance, or technology sectors

Background in B2B or consultative sales

Ability to confidently engage senior professionals and decision-makers
