Documentation Executive Job Description (Custom Clearance - Export & Import)
Preparing of documents and records required for custom clearance of export & Import cargo in the port;coordinating with the exporter of cargo and field operation executive to ensure a smooth custom clearance process
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit all required documentation for customs clearance, Checklist E sanchit including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, Ad code registration and other relevant paperwork. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation to avoid delays and penalties. Stay updated on customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade agreements. Ensure that all import and export activities comply with local and international regulations. Manage compliance with import/export laws, rules, and regulations. Liaise with customs officials to facilitate the clearance of shipments. Coordinate with Custom Clearance agent to Address and resolve issues related to customs clearance, such as delays, holds, and discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and related documentation. Monitor and manage costs associated with customs clearance, including duties, taxes, and service fees.
Job Requirements:
-Graduation in any stream
-Minimum 4 years of experience in customs clearance, specifically in export and import (air and sea)
-Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Immediate joiners are highly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
