The Data Analyst will work with operations, IT, and leadership to turn warehouse and supply chain data into insights that drive decisions on the warehouse floor to C-suite level.
This role sits at the intersection of 3PL warehouse operations and data analytics– so we’re looking for someone who understands how a distribution center actually runs (inbound, outbound, inventory, pick/pack, kitting, returns) and can translate that operational reality into clean datasets, SQL queries, and dashboards that stakeholders actually use.
Location: Pune ( Baner)
Mode: Work from Office.
Shift hours: 1pm to 10pm or 3pm to 12pm
What You’ll Do
- Partner with operations, finance, and client-facing teams to understand business questions and translate them into data and reporting requirements
- Analyze large, complex datasets across warehousing, inventory, labor, and shipping to surface trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities
- Build and maintain Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards for internal teams and external 3PL clients – covering KPIs like inventory accuracy, order cycle time, throughput, shipping SLA, and labor productivity
- Build simulation and planning models for warehouse processes (slotting, capacity planning, labor forecasting, inbound/outbound flow)
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering on database structures, data pipelines, and data warehouse integrity
- Develop advanced Excel-based planning tools for operations and finance stakeholders
- Administer the Tableau Server environment (user access, content management, performance)
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working in 3PL, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations– this is non-negotiable; we need someone who already speaks the language of WMS, SKUs, inventory, and DC operations
- 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience writing complex queries against large, messy operational datasets
- 3+ years using Tableau Prep to create and maintain data pipelines, with deep working knowledge of refresh schedules, extract management, and dependency handling between flows and dashboards
- 3+ years building production dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI
- 3+ years Tableau server administration
- Strong command of Excel for modeling and ad-hoc analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and comfortable working independently with US-based stakeholders across time zones
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python for data manipulation or automation
- Experience with ERP or WMS systems like Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, NetSuite WMS, etc.
