Job Summary
We are looking for a Diamond Bagging Executive responsible for accurate handling, sorting, counting, bagging, tagging, and maintaining records of diamonds as per production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify diamonds as per required specifications.
- Sort, count, weigh, and segregate diamonds accurately.
- Prepare and label diamond bags according to job/order requirements.
- Maintain proper records of diamond movement and stock.
- Coordinate with production, CAD, planning, and quality teams.
- Ensure diamonds are correctly matched with jewellery orders/jobs.
- Verify quantity, size, shape, quality, and other specifications before handing over.
- Maintain proper security and accountability of diamonds.
- Report any mismatch, shortage, or discrepancy immediately.
- Follow company SOPs and safety/security procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years in diamond bagging, diamond manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of diamond identification, sorting, counting, and weighing.
- Basic understanding of diamond shapes, sizes, and specifications.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping skills.
- Honest, responsible, and disciplined.
- Candidates with experience in diamond jewellery manufacturing will be preferred.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Working Hours
09:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday to Saturday
Location: Katargam, Surat
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
