Overview
PENNEP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our client's food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily dispatch operations for finished goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers, distributors, retailers, and warehouses.
- Prepare and verify dispatch-related documents, including invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and transport documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are packed and ready for dispatch as per schedule.
- Liaise with transporters, drivers, and logistics partners to arrange pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor shipment movement and provide delivery status updates to customers and internal teams.
- Verify product quantities, batch numbers, packaging, and labeling before dispatch.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, shipment tracking, and proof-of-delivery documents.
- Address and resolve delivery delays, shortages, damages, or transportation issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, transportation regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and coordinate with the warehouse team regarding stock availability.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or warehouse coordination.
- Experience in the food manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and dispatch management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectively.

- Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
- Understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Familiarity with e-way bills and shipping documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Work Schedule
- Shift Timing: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Work Mode: Onsite, Kapurthala
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
