Role description
- Formulate & implement Legal strategies in pending labour matters before different courts to reduce number of litigations as well as cost of litigation against the company.
- Coordinate & follow up with HRBPs, empanelled lawyers and allied stakeholders for perusal & positive disposal of labour cases in various courts including Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal, High Court, EPF/ ESIC/ Gratuity authority, and out of court settlements.
- Stakeholder management to gain and provide support (critical stakeholders and legislative / government bodies/ courts etc.) in legal matters pertaining to labour issue.
- Guiding & handholding HRBPs upon labour related legal procedures, latest amendments in labour laws, disciplinary procedures related to domestic enquiry, conduct sessions & trainings to build competency in labour related legal matters.
- Responding the letters of various labour and related authorities. Attending conciliations in the Industrial Dispute matters and hearings of cases before various labour authorities.
Skills Required :
- 3+ years in Legal/IR (manufacturing)
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws

Other details
MBA/PGDM with specialization in HR/Personnel Management/Social Welfare/Labour Welfare from a recognized institute or LLB/ 5years course of BA. LLB/BBA LLB/B. Com LLB with experience of handling Labour laws.
