We are UK based Online School, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Science Teacher specialising in the IGCSE curriculum to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and a love for literature and language among students. Duties
- Plan and deliver comprehensive Science lessons tailored to the IGCSE syllabus, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management and personalised support.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Mentor students to develop their reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Incorporate creative writing, journalism, and proofreading activities to enhance language proficiency.
- Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Organise extracurricular activities such as literary clubs or writing workshops to promote student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in organisational systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching Science at secondary level within the IGCSE framework.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques suitable for diverse classroom settings.
- Skills in mentoring, tutoring, and supporting students with varying learning needs, including special education requirements.
- Proficiency in creative writing, journalism, proofreading, and general literacy development.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and student records efficiently.
- Ability to teach additional subjects such as Maths or provide support in related areas is advantageous.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
