Roles & Responsibilities
Kafka Infrastructure Setup – QA & Production
- Designed and implemented highly available Kafka environments for QA and Production, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
- Defined cluster sizing, topic configuration, partitioning strategy, and environment specific tuning.
- Established monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness for production support.
Kafka Cluster Scaling & Performance
- Executed horizontal scaling of Kafka clusters, including broker expansion and partition rebalancing.
- Optimized producer/consumer performance to handle high volume, low latency event processing.
- Supported capacity planning and load testing to meet growing business demand.
IaC | Kubernetes / ROSA | Confluent Kafka | Apache Flink | Golang
- Automated Kafka and streaming platform deployments using Infrastructure as Code on Kubernetes and ROSA.
- Managed Confluent Kafka platforms and implemented real time stream processing using Apache Flink.
- Developed and supported Golang based Kafka producers, consumers, and integrations.
Salary Range- $120,000-$145,000 a year
