Hiring – Senior Accounts Executive
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in US Accounting
Timing: Afternoon Shift / Night Shift
Job Description:
- Independently manage the full bookkeeping and accounting cycle for multiple US clients.
- Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close activities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accounting records and perform catch-up bookkeeping where required.
- Set up, clean up, and maintain QuickBooks Online (QBO) files.
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using BILL (Bill.com).
- Manage vendor setup, invoice processing, payment workflows, and chart of accounts.
- Prepare and support multi-state sales tax reporting.
- Manage W-9 collection, 1099 compliance, and support Form 990 reporting.
- Perform nonprofit accounting, including grant accounting, donor tracking, and restricted/unrestricted fund accounting.
- Perform real estate accounting, including lease accounting (ASC 842), partnership allocations, mortgage tracking, and tenant accounting.
- Record intercompany transactions and prepare elimination entries.
- Review the work of junior accounting staff and manage multiple client engagements independently.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring timely project completion.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA, ACCA, CIMA, US CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in US Accounting, preferably managing multiple clients or entities.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and BILL (Bill.com).
- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close.
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, intercompany accounting, sales tax, W-9/1099 compliance, and financial-to-tax reconciliations.
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting (including Form 990) and/or real estate accounting (including ASC 842) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and review junior team members' work.
