Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and innovative Design Engineers with experience in industrial machinery and equipment design. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SOLIDEDGE and SOLIDWORKS and should be capable of designing packaging machinery, conveyors, material handling systems, jigs, fixtures, and customized mechanical equipment while ensuring manufacturability and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop mechanical machines, equipment, and automation systems using SOLIDEDGE and SOLIDWORKS.
Create 3D models, assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, and detailed BOMs.
Design jigs, fixtures, conveyors, and material handling systems based on project requirements.
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and component selection.
Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, procurement, and project teams for smooth execution.
Resolve design-related issues during fabrication and assembly.
Ensure designs comply with quality, safety, and industry standards.
Optimize existing designs for improved performance, cost reduction, and ease of manufacturing.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and design validation.
Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in SOLIDEDGE and SOLIDWORKS.
Experience in industrial machine design and equipment design.
Hands-on experience in Jig & Fixture Design.
Experience in Conveyor Design and Material Handling Systems.
Knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication processes, machining, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Understanding of bearings, pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, linear guides, and mechanical transmission systems.
Ability to generate BOMs and manufacturing drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
2–5 years of experience in special purpose machines (SPM), packaging machines, automation equipment, or material handling systems.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.
Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional engineering team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
