Job Description
We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer – Sheet Metal with 3+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AutoCAD, Solid Edge and Solid Edge, with hands-on experience in SPM machine Design for industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D & 3D sheet metal drawings, models, and layouts
- Prepare fabrication drawings, flat patterns, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Develop drawings for laser cutting, bending, punching, and welding
- Revise drawings based on client inputs and shop-floor feedback
- Ensure designs comply with manufacturing standards and tolerances
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and sales teams
- Maintain proper drawing control and documentation
- Support design and development of automation systems and SPM (Special Purpose Machines)
- Assist in integration of mechanical components with sensors, actuators, and control systems
- Participate in concept design and layout planning for automated equipment
Requirements
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal design
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Solid Works.
- Practical understanding of sheet metal processes (bending, forming, welding)
- Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: ₹15,452.78 - ₹50,632.09 per month
