Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operation theatre preparation: Prepare OT before procedures, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready.
- Equipment handling: Operate and maintain OT equipment, ensuring functionality during surgeries.
- Maintenance checks: Regularly inspect OT equipment for functionality and report malfunctions immediately.
- Safe handling protocols: Follow strict safety guidelines while handling delicate instruments and electrical devices.
- Emergency readiness: Keep backup equipment ready in case of sudden failures during surgery.
- Post-surgery care: Clean, disinfect, and store instruments properly after each procedure.
- Inventory management: Track usage, request replenishment, and maintain logs of OT consumables and devices. Why It Matters
