We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional with a strong background in sustainability, environmental initiatives, strategic partnerships, CSR engagement, and event management. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing strategic collaborations, securing sponsorships, and conceptualizing high-impact sustainability-focused events and knowledge platforms.
This role requires extensive engagement with corporates, government agencies, ministries, NGOs, development organizations, industry associations, and sustainability-focused stakeholders to create meaningful environmental and social impact.
- Conceptualize and develop innovative events focused on Sustainability, ESG, Climate Change, Renewable Energy, Circular Economy, Biodiversity, Waste Management, Water Conservation, and Environmental Awareness.
- Curate event themes, conference agendas, speaker line-ups, panel discussions, and knowledge sessions aligned with emerging environmental priorities.
- Lead planning and execution of conferences, summits, awards, roundtables, webinars, forums, and stakeholder engagement programs.
- Build relationships with industry experts, policymakers, environmental leaders, and sustainability influencers.
- Drive revenue generation through sponsorship acquisition, delegate sales, exhibition partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
- Identify and onboard new clients for sustainability-focused magazines, publications, reports, and events.
- Pitch editorial features, sponsorship opportunities, branding solutions, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Develop and manage a strong business pipeline across corporates, PSUs, government departments, and sustainability-focused organizations.
- Identify and secure opportunities for CSR funding, environmental projects, and sustainability programs.
- Engage with corporate CSR teams to align organizational initiatives with CSR mandates.
- Develop proposals, concept notes, sponsorship decks, and partnership frameworks.
- Build long-term relationships with corporate foundations, donor agencies, and philanthropic organizations.
- Establish collaborations with ministries, government bodies, think tanks, industry associations, international organizations, and environmental institutions.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking forums, policy discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure continuous engagement and value delivery to key partners and sponsors.
- Coordinate with government departments and relevant organizations for project support and strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of events, publications, and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop annual business growth strategies and partnership plans.
- Track project deliverables, stakeholder expectations, and revenue targets.
- Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university.
- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, CSR, Fundraising, Sustainability, Environmental Sector, or Events.
- Strong preference for candidates from NGOs, Non-Profit Organizations, Environmental Organizations, Development Sector, CSR Foundations, Think Tanks, or Sustainability Platforms.
- Established network across corporates, government agencies, CSR leaders, and sustainability stakeholders.
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, fundraising, partnership development, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to independently drive business growth and strategic collaborations.
