Position Overview
Job Title: Manager – Repairs & Maintenance
Location: Patna, Bihar (On-site)
Compensation: ₹4.0 Lakhs to ₹5.5 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA) — commensurate with experience
Department: Facilities & Biomedical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
As the Manager of Repairs & Maintenance, you will oversee both the biomedical equipment environment and the general electrical/electronic facility infrastructure of the hospital.
Asset Management: Supervise the uptime, breakdown repairs, and routine maintenance of critical medical systems, OT equipment, ICU monitors, and laboratory devices.
Facility Infrastructure: Oversee the hospital’s electrical distribution networks, backup power systems (DG sets, UPS), HVAC/air conditioning, and building automation setups.
Vendor & AMC Management: Negotiate, track, and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMCs) with external vendors and OEMs.
Team Leadership: Guide and manage a dedicated team of junior engineers, technicians, and electricans; assign daily maintenance schedules and handle emergency breakdowns.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all repairs and installations strictly comply with hospital safety protocols, NABH standards, and statutory electricity regulations.
Cost & Inventory Control: Manage the maintenance budget, minimize operational downtime, and maintain an optimum inventory of essential spare parts.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Diploma in Electronics Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or institute (AICTE approved).
Experience: 5 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role ideally within a hospital, healthcare facility, or large commercial continuous-uptime setup.
Technical Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical control panels, wiring, and electronic circuit boards.
Familiarity with biomedical equipment operations is highly preferred.
Knowledge of DG sync panels and centralized HVAC systems.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership qualities, ability to handle high-pressure breakdown situations, and clear communication skills in Hindi and English.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
