Job Summary:
Ajay K & Associates is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with 1–6 years of professional experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong practical exposure to GST filings, ROC compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations, along with the ability to handle multiple client assignments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations)
- Handling Income Tax compliance, including return preparation and basic assessments
- Managing ROC compliances including filing of forms, annual returns, and maintaining statutory records
- Bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and finalization support
- Preparation of financial statements and assisting in audits
- TDS calculation, return filing, and compliance
- Coordination with clients for data collection and compliance follow-ups
- Handling day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in CA firm or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and ROC compliance
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and other accounting software
- Good understanding of accounting standards and compliance framework
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / M.Com (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in handling multiple clients in a professional firm
Compensation:
- Salary: As per industry standards (based on experience and skillset)
