Job objective:
Ensure the quality of the parts produced meet all the customer’s expectations
To take quick and effective actions, when non-conformances are found.
Inspection and periodic testing of jobs and end product as per the specification.
KEY SKILLS
1) Study of Specifications and ISO 9001/IATF16949 / VDA 6.3 etc procedures etc.
2) Monitor, assist and motivate for maintaining QMS procedures, checklist on site.
3) Lead daily meeting, developmental & quality concerns.
4) Prepare a quality plan for in-process & final inspection.
5) Attend customer complainants & resolve them through corrective actions.
6) Update customer complaints log register & compile 8D reports.
7) To conduct weekly rejection analysis & release scrap notes to the stores.
8) To conduct monthly rejection analysis, Pareto analysis and calculate cost of poor
quality.
9) To ensure use of calibrated instruments & gauges
10) To conduct product audit & process audit.
11) To conduct internal audit.
12) Work for new development like inspection, planning of gauge, dispatch &
packing.
13) Provide training to the subordinate & newly joined engineers in QA team.
14) Conduct MSA & SPC as per the plan.
15) Monitor in process & final quality.
16) Preparing records for corrective and preventive actions and forwarding the
same to the QMS MR.
17) Handling team and scheduling the shift
1) Monitor 5s activity
2) To conduct process audit, product audit, layout inspection and internal audit.
