Job Overview
IOTA Academy is looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Development Executive (BDE) to identify new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships with colleges, educational institutions, corporates, and other organizations.
This role primarily involves research, outreach, communication, and relationship building. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with technology, conducting online research, and using AI tools to improve productivity and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential colleges, companies, and organizations for collaboration opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
- Reach out to prospective partners through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and meetings.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations with potential partners.
- Generate qualified business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to convert them into successful partnerships.
- Conduct internet research to identify market trends, potential clients, and collaboration opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and partnership documents.
- Maintain accurate records using Google Sheets, MS Office and MS Excel.
- Use AI tools to enhance research, communication, documentation, and overall productivity.
- Support business growth initiatives and strategic expansion activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA/Marketing/Business Management preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Relations, Sales, or Partnership Management.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
- Excellent internet research skills.
- Ability to effectively use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other productivity platforms.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Experience in the education or training industry will be an added advantage.
Salary & Incentives
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance)
