We are looking for an AI-Orchestrated Full Stack Engineer who leverages AI-first development practices to rapidly design, build, and ship scalable applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
This is not a core AI research role. The focus is on using AI tools, vibe coding methodologies, and workflow automation to significantly accelerate full-stack development — while ensuring strong system design, scalability, microservices readiness, and production-quality standards.
The ideal candidate can guide AI tools to generate scalable, maintainable systems — not just code snippets — including microservices and serverless architectures.
## Key Responsibilities
### 1. Full Stack Development (MERN)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Build robust RESTful APIs and backend services
- Develop responsive, modular, and maintainable React frontends
- Design and optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL schemas and queries
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API patterns
### 2. AI-Orchestrated Development & Vibe Coding
- Practice vibe coding — converting product ideas into working software rapidly using AI copilots
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to:
- Scaffold full applications
- Generate and refactor components
- Debug issues
- Write unit/integration tests
- Produce documentation
- Guide AI to generate scalable architecture, modular services, and production-ready patterns
- Automate repetitive full-stack tasks (CRUD generation, validation layers, schema creation, API wiring)
- Build reusable AI-driven development workflows
- Improve development velocity while maintaining clean architecture and scalability standards
### 3. Scalable System Design, Microservices & Serverless Architecture
- Design scalable, maintainable, and extensible system architectures
- Architect applications using microservices principles where appropriate
- Design and implement serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.) when suitable
- Apply best practices for:
- API design
- Database optimization
- Caching strategies (Redis, etc.)
- Rate limiting
- Background job processing
- Event-driven systems
- Horizontal scaling
- Ensure AI-generated code aligns with distributed system best practices
- Review and refine AI outputs to meet performance, reliability, and security requirements
- Anticipate traffic growth and design systems for scale from day one
### 4. Automation & Engineering Productivity
- Develop internal scripts/tools to automate:
- Code scaffolding
- Boilerplate generation
- Environment setup
- Test case generation
- Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.) into applications when required
- Implement AI-driven features such as chat interfaces, smart search (RAG), and workflow automation
- Continuously optimize engineering processes for faster and smarter delivery
### 5. DevOps & Deployment
- Deploy applications using:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Vercel, etc.)
- Serverless infrastructure
- Containerized microservices (Docker)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Manage service orchestration and environment configuration
- Monitor system performance, logging, and reliability
- Optimize cost, scalability, and uptime
## Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development
- Strong proficiency in:
- React.js
- Node.js & Express
- MongoDB
- Supabase
- PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of:
- Scalable system design
- Microservices architecture
- Serverless deployment models
- Demonstrated daily use of AI coding assistants
- Experience automating development workflows
- Strong API design and distributed system understanding
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating LLM APIs into web applications
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Understanding of RAG and vector database concepts
- Experience building AI-powered SaaS products
