Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Molecular Accession Executive to support the Molecular Department at Unipath Lab. The candidate will be responsible for sample accessioning, data entry, patient information management, and coordination with the laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely processing of molecular diagnostic samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry of patient and sample details into the laboratory software/system.
- Handle sample accessioning and registration for molecular tests.
- Verify patient information, test details, and sample labeling.
- Maintain records and documentation of incoming samples.
- Coordinate with collection centers, technicians, and reporting teams.
- Ensure proper tracking and status updates of samples.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient data.
- Support the Molecular Department in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in patient/sample information.
- Follow laboratory SOPs and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Good typing and computer knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and data handling.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Responsible and disciplined approach toward work.
Eligibility
- B.Sc / M.Sc / Any Graduate
- Freshers are welcome.
- Experience in laboratory, healthcare, pathology, or diagnostic field will be preferred.
