Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Technician with hands-on expertise in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, and Ultra Filtration (UF/UVF) systems. The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems at project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, erection, commissioning, and startup activities for WTP, STP, RO, and UF/UVF plants.
- Perform equipment alignment, piping works, and system integration as per project drawings.
- Operate and maintain pumps, blowers, dosing systems, filters, membranes, and instrumentation.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of treatment plants.
- Monitor plant performance parameters and ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in treatment systems.
- Coordinate with project engineers, vendors, and site teams for project execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures at site.
- Prepare daily work reports, service reports, and maintenance logs.
- Support trial runs, performance testing, and handover of completed projects.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure regulatory compliance at project sites.
- Assist in customer training and post-commissioning support activities.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Additional certifications in water treatment systems will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of:
- Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants
- Ultra Filtration / UV Filtration (UF/UVF) Systems
Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of process flow diagrams (PFD) and P&ID drawings.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Pumps, blowers, valves, and piping systems
- RO membranes and pressure vessels
- Multimedia filters, activated carbon filters, and UF systems
- Dosing pumps and chemical handling
- PLC/SCADA basics (preferred)
- Electrical control panels and instrumentation
- Ability to use measuring instruments and maintenance tools.

Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment, ETP/STP projects, O&M services, and turnkey project execution will be preferred.
Job Type: Full-Time
Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to project sites across locations.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.
