Job Summary
The Proposal Engineer will support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for customers. The role involves understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments, preparing quotations, and ensuring timely submission of proposals. This position is ideal for fresh mechanical engineering graduates who want to build a career in technical sales and proposal engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and technical specifications.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Study engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and customer specifications.
- Prepare cost estimation and pricing with support from internal teams.
- Maintain proposal documentation and quotation records.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and support the sales team during negotiations.
- Prepare technical compliance statements and proposal documents.
- Ensure proposals are submitted accurately and within deadlines.
- Update quotation trackers and maintain proposal databases.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and technical presentations.
- Learn company products, filtration systems, and engineering standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn costing and proposal preparation.
- Good coordination and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
