Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for teachers and academic staff.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other hiring channels.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with the academic and management teams.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Handle onboarding formalities, documentation, and joining processes for new hires.
- Coordinate with trainers/teachers regarding schedules, attendance, and operational requirements.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR-related documents.
- Maintain employee records and ensure timely completion of HR processes.
- Address employee queries related to HR policies and processes.
- Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
- Generate and maintain recruitment and HR reports using Google Sheets/MS Excel.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closures.
- Contribute towards improving hiring processes and candidate experience
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 02 years of experience in recruitment, HR operations, or talent acquisition (Freshers with relevant internship experience may also apply).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Workspace tools.
- Experience using job portals such as Naukri and LinkedIn for sourcing candidates.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience in the EdTech industry or teacher recruitment will be an added advantage.
